Got questions about Windcrest? You’ve come to the right place.
Windcrest is a semi-vanilla Minecraft survival server focused on community, competition, and having fun together.
Windcrest currently runs on Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11.
Absolutely! Windcrest is completely free. There is nothing you can buy—not ranks, not perks, not anything. Everyone plays without paying a single cent.

No. You need a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition account to play.
Yes! PvP is always allowed. Be prepared to defend yourself and your belongings.
Yes. Stealing is allowed, so keep your valuable items safe.
Yes. However, use common sense and respect the community. Check the server rules for any additional restrictions.
Of course! There is no strict team-size limit, but use common sense. Forming a massive team of 20 players that makes it practically impossible for new players to survive is not what we want.
Almost anything goes, as long as your mods don’t give you an unfair advantage. Mods that provide unfair advantages are prohibited.
You drop your items. Be careful out there!
Yes! Windcrest runs in seasons, each with its own gameplay experience.
The world completely resets, and we choose a new plugin to introduce a different gameplay experience. Every new season is a fresh start.
Windcrest has a progression-based rank system. Higher ranks provide additional perks, such as increased health and extra inventory space.
Yes. If someone with a lower rank kills you, they can take your rank.
Yes! Unranked players can steal ranks too, provided they kill someone with a higher rank.
You’re still an ordinary player with access to normal gameplay. You simply don’t have a rank or its associated perks. You can still fight other players and steal ranks.
All players are welcome to participate in events unless they are banned from the server.
Yes, many events have rewards. Check the individual event announcements for details.
Absolutely! Post your suggestions in the #reports-suggestions channel on Discord.
You can find the official Windcrest rules directly on our website.
Staff can issue mutes and bans depending on the situation and severity of the violation.
Punishment appeals are generally not accepted unless you have strong evidence proving that you weren’t guilty. Apologizing is appreciated, but an apology alone isn’t enough to overturn a punishment.
Report rule violations in the #reports-suggestions channel on Discord. Include evidence whenever possible to help staff investigate.
No. Moderator applications are currently closed. We’ll announce any changes when applications reopen.
